Windows 10 End of Support on October 14, 2025, and Upgrade to Windows 11

As you may be aware, Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will reach its End of Support on October 14, 2025. This means that after this date, Windows 10 will no longer receive security updates or support from Microsoft, which could leave your system vulnerable to security risks.

What This Means for You:

  • Automatic Upgrade to Windows 11: To ensure your systems remain secure and up-to-date, we will begin upgrading all compatible machines to Windows 11 starting on 1st March 2025. This upgrade will be pushed out automatically and is designed to be seamless, minimizing any disruption to your work.
  • Incompatible Machines: For machines that do not meet the requirements for Windows 11, we will need to discuss upgrade options. This may involve hardware upgrades or replacing the machine to ensure compatibility with the new operating system. We will send you a report with any incompatible machines in the new year.

Your Options:

If you have Windows 10 devices currently under support with us and you do not wish to have them automatically upgraded, please let us know so we can discuss alternative options.

If you have any questions or concerns about this transition, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@gatenbyservices.co.uk
